Molly Dario

Molly Dario is a Los Angeles-based filmmaker and video artist whose artwork is a landscape of surrealistic hyper-realities, an experimental playground and make-believe universe to play in. She explores human desire, technology, communication to the natural and unnatural, all while denoting symbols to both past and future worlds. With the combination of numerous art forms into one, including story-telling, performance art, set design, video editing, and special effects, the world's she creates are arranged to ultimately pursue abstract thought, existential understanding, day-to-day complacency, and finally it attempts to provoke the esoteric. This artwork is for anyone looking for a stretch to the brain, and perhaps a comfort in human ambiguities.
